Orlando Holiday Inn Kidsuites
I get the same question almost everyday….”What is a Kidsuite?” This is a trademarked room that Orlando Holiday Inn developed some 12 years ago. As the name applies it is a suite room designed more for kids than grown-ups.
The best way that I explain it…is for you to imagine a large hotel room. Now let’s imagine that our furniture movers came in and took all the furniture out. Now, all you have is this 20’ X 22’ empty box. We then will send the carpenters in the room. Their task is to build a ¾ wall diving the room in half.
The wall only goes up about six and a half feet. It can not go much higher. The reason being is that the air conditioning needs to cool the kid’s part of their suite.
Now, that we have the room divided. We bring back the furniture. For mom and dad they get the Queen bed and the night stands as well as lamps. The dresser and the television come next. As you see nothing is missing excepting the other Queen bed.
In the kid’s portion of the room, the furniture movers bring in a set of bunk beds, a nightstand, and a small television and of course the TV game player.
Now, you have a kidsuite!
Quite frankly, this is one of the more popular room types of those visiting orlandovacationhotels.com and looking for kid friendly hotels especially close to Disney World.
As Mildred A of Lexington, KY stated: “My husband and I wanted to watch our two favorite shows: American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. The concern was what will Danny (our 7 year old) do during this time? The kidsuite was an ideal answer. He enjoyed playing his games in his own portion of the room. Quite frankly, we had a hard time putting him to bed.”
