Hotels on Disney World Property
Disney Resorts are divided into four main categories: Deluxe resorts, Moderate resorts and Value Hotels and Deluxe Villa Resorts.
Deluxe resorts are fully furnished and top-class resort suites designed for families with a large budget for their vacation. Quicker access to parks is available from the Deluxe resorts. When you stay at a Disney Resort, you get longer access via a program called Extra Magic Hours, which allows guests to enter the park an hour earlier on certain days. Disney resorts also complimentary full service transportation to and from Orlando International Airport, so you don’t have to worry about hauling your bags around in a rental car. Disney Resorts also provide charge cards to use on campus, which you can pay back at the checkout process.
Deluxe resort rooms are much larger than the moderate resorts and value resorts. Rooms have more space for luggage, clothes and personal space. Bathrooms in luxury resorts have multiple sinks so your family can get ready to hit the park in shorter time. TVs in the deluxe resorts are furnished with a refrigerator and baby crib upon request. Deluxe resorts also offer more shops and fine dining options than the moderate and value resorts, along with larger pools, longer lazy rivers, poolside bars and water slides.
Deluxe Disney resorts include Disney’s contemporary Resort, The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, The Boardwalk hotel, The Wilderness Lodge, and the Dolphin and Swan Resort.
Moderate resorts feature rooms slightly smaller than deluxe resorts, with two queen beds. Large pools and restaurants are on site at moderate resorts. Moderate Disney Resorts include Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Coronado Springs Resort, Port Orleans Resort French quarter and Port Orleans Resort Riverside. Value resorts offer rooms under $100 per night. Value resorts include Disney’s pop century resort, Disney All Star Movies Resort and Disney’s All Star Music Resort.
