Popular hotel activities in Orlando
If you’ve ever listened to the vacation stories of friends and families who have traveled to Disney World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, you’ve probably heard them rave about all of the fun and exciting activities to do both in and outside of the theme park.
Orlando hotels are known for their incredibly courteous staff, entertaining events and world-class amenities. For example, at Disney’s Polynesian resort, you can relax at the tiki bar and watch luau dancers perform with fire eaters on stage.
If your family chooses to stay at Nickelodeon resort, your kids can enjoy all the perks of the fully supervised programs and events, including Nick After Dark. This dinner show includes a hands- on experience with Nickelodeon TV props and a night full of exciting activities for kids ages 5 through 12. They’ll also get a special souvenir to take home.
For the parents in the family, nothing completes a day in Orlando like a night out at Universal City walk. This eclectic mix of clubs and lounges includes Pat O’Brien’s piano bar, Bob Marley’s lounge, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, the Red Coconut Club, Emeril’s restaurant, and more.
Adult couples can by special ticket packages through Nickelodeon resort, including the date night package, which includes a three-course meal for two at CityWalk’s Latin quarter or Pastamore. There’s also Movie and a Meal deal, which includes dinner at a CityWalk restaurant and a movie at Universal Cineplex.
If you’re in the mood for a good laugh, walk on over to the Universal Orlando De Universal CityWalk’s Bonkerz comedy club.
If you’re in Disney’s Grand Floridian resort, your children can join activities such as the WonderLand Tea Party or Cinderella’s breakfast. The wonderland tea party includes Turkey and cheese sandwiches, chicken nuggets, heart-shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and fruit are served. Though, this being the world of Wonderland, items may change. Kids are given cups of a special “tea,” (which tastes like apple juice, how curious).
