5 Booking Tips for Orlando Hotels – Part 2 of 2

3. Watch for any Hidden Fees - Make sure that you ask the hotel sales representative if there are any additional costs for your stay. One additional fee that may not be included in the quote is state sales tax. All hotel owners must pay state tax. So whenever you get your quote, make sure that the taxes are included in the price. This way it will be easier for you to compare hotel prices.

4. Book Ahead – It really pays to book Orlando Hotels in advance either by phone or online. This allows you to lock in the best rate for your vacation. By booking ahead, you can really save. Some travelers will show just show up at the hotel and hope for the best rate. Not only will their rates be higher but they may be without a room. During “high season”, hotels can sell out and of course they are priced at a premium as well. By calling a reservation specialist in advance, the reservationist can let you know the best rates for the time that you are traveling, offer you options for your stay, and let you know about specials that are being run at the time of your visit.

5. Travel as a Group – By traveling as a group, travel costs can significantly be reduced for each individual. Also, hotels do have fire codes that they must observe so once again it is best to call your reservation specialist in advance so that can help you select the best Orlando hotel for your group. Depending on the size of your group, some hotels will be more suited to accommodating your party.
