If you are coming on an Orlando vacation this summer, and you enjoy a good adrenaline rush then you are coming to the right place. This Spring Orlando will be launching two new roller coasters that will be sure to leave you hanging on to the edge of you seat.

In SeaWorld, the Manta is set for a take off on May 22nd and all things look to be on schedule according to SeaWorld officials. Seaworld Tickets are sure to be in high demand as that turns out to be Memorial Day weekend as Well. The Manta will show riders the beauty of nature in the water and the skies and it includes a 140 foot ascension. Of course, we all know that what goes up must come down.

At Universal Studios, the climb to the top for the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit will be a bit higher 167 feet. Universal has called the ride “the sophisticated roller coaster we’ve ever created.” Universal has many coasters, but this will be their prize coaster for some time. The ride is set to open in Early Spring/Summer of 2009. Be sure to get your Universal Studio Tickets well in advance.

The 2009 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicked off on March 18th and runs through May 31st. The festival is in it’s 16th year and is presented by Dinseynature. You certainly do not need to be an expert gardener to attend either.

Epcot is always landscaped well but the International Flower & Garden Festival take Epcot to a whole new level. There are literally untold millions of flowers on display in a wide array of colors and sizes. If you love spending time in the great outdoors, then this is the perfect festival for you. Mother Nature certainly shows off in a big way.

Disney has catered the event to all ages. Children will enjoy Let’s Get Moving with Evos & Weevos play systems, and the Pirate Adventure Zone. On the weekends, horticulturists are conducting workshops and offering gardening tips for gardening enthusiasts. The ‘Flower Power’ concert theme takes place on the weekends and offers live music for all.

One great thing about taking an Orlando vacation at this time of year is that the Florida weather is most enjoyable. It’s not too humid and not too hot. This makes for an enjoyable day outside and this Disney event certainly capitalizes on Florida’s great weather at this time of year with this Spring Time Festival.

Orlando Vacation Hotels are Booking Fast!

With the Orlando theme parks reducing their rates, demand is as high as ever for park tickets. Consumers are making the most of park discounts and are flooding the parks to the point that some are reaching the point of capacity. If you plan on going to the parks now, make sure that you get there good and early or you may not be able to get in.

Magic Kingdom has been the busiest and visitors have been turned away due to the park reaching capacity. Recently, Disney’s Hollywood Studios had to utilize the Epcot parking lot in an effort to keep up with park guests.

Universal Studios has reopened Fear Factor Live in an effort to accommodate guests. Park attendance is exceeding expectations recently and the story is similar at SeaWorld. Who brought in an extra 1,000 employees in an effort to satisy the demand.

So, if you like to make last minute decisions on booking an Orlando vacation hotel, you may want to reconsider. Even though we are in a recession, demand for hotel rooms is quite high so you will want to back as far in advance as you can and still take advantage of great rates. Hotels are selling out so don’t delay.
