How to enjoy your Orlando vacation?

One of the things that makes or breaks a vacation for me is accommodations. Many people plan and save all year long to go on their Disney vacation but miss the boat on where their family should stay to make the most of their time and money.

A great way to cut costs and add value to your vacationing experience is to at an Orlando vacation home rental rather than an overstuffed and overpriced hotel. Vacation homes come with furnishings, fully equipped kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, cable TV, and may even have their own private pool. Instead of being stuffed in a hotel box/room, you and your family will have ample space to unwind.

Children can have their own rooms and you can grab a snack or whip up a meal whenever you would like. If you are worn out from walking all of the theme parks, take a day off and spend it at the pool. The kids will have plenty to do without having to entertain them nonstop.

Many vacation homes are located near all of the Disney magic which means you drive less and enjoy your vacation more too.

At a Disney vacation home, all the conveniences of life are at your finger tips such as shopping, dining, grocery stores, restaurant delivery, pharmacy, golf courses and more. All of these conveniences of the vacation home will cut down on your food and entertainment bill while vacationing and leave the family eagerly anticipating the next one.

Disney Character Meals

We all have our favorite Disney characters. Wouldn’t it be a thrill to meet them? Well, Disney makes this all possible with their character themed meals. These meals will provide an experience that will last a lifetime for both you and your family. The Disney characters are more easily accessible at character meals as opposed to trying to get to them when they are in the parks. In the parks, the lines can stack up quickly and you may not have the time or energy to wait your turn.

Disney has made their character based meals available throughout the day. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although, the character themed dining has its benefits, it is more pricey than the other dining options within Disney World.

Character meals vary by type and cuisine. Breakfasts are normally a buffet and dinners deviate from set menu to open menu to buffet. Be sure to check schedules for the characters before booking a meal. Character meals can book quickly. For some characters, you may need to book six months in advance, especially for popular ones. So, make sure that you call plenty in advance.

Characters make their way to all the tables while you are dining. They will take the time to pose for photographs and sign autographs with you and your family. Be sure to have your camera and pens ready!
