Orlando Hotels…deciding where to stay

Here are a few suggestions to help you choose the best Orlando hotel for you and your family.

1. What are you going to be doing when you are in Orlando? If you are going to be visiting a theme park then you will be well served to look for a hotel near that attraction. Most hotels near Disney World offer free shuttle service to and from the various Disney World Parks. Keep in mind parking at Disney World is $12 per day so this can add up to a huge savings especially if you are going to Disney for 6 or 7 days.

2. What is the make up of your party. If you have small children (under the age of 4 years old) and you know they are going to need a nap in the middle of the day then plan for this. All the hotels on Disney World property offer Free shuttle service every thirty minutes to and from the theme parks. Trust me…there is nothing more miserable than being at the Magic Kingdom with a tired, fussy child.

3. Set a budget. Orlando has something for everyone from expensive, lavish hotels to simple no frill properties. Be cautious however, don’t expect the Ritz if the room only cost you $39 a night.

4. Looking into booking a package deal- If you are like most visitors coming to Orlando and you are going to be visiting a theme park then you might want to look into ordering your theme park tickets and your hotel rooms as a package deal…sometimes you can get a great value this way.

5. Pictures speak a thousand words. Really look at the pictures of the property, you can usually tell from the pictures if this is a hotel you and your family would want to stay in.

We hope these five suggestions help you book the perfect Orlando hotel!
