Finding a Cheap Orlando Hotel

Any post on this site about finding a cheap Orlando hotel is obviously and admittedly going to carry a little bias. We of course believe we have the best travel bargains around; although we will certainly admit if we are wrong. Therefore we wanted to give everyone a little advice when searching for a discount hotel or package near the SeaWorld and Disney areas of FL.

One key suggestion is to shop around. Take a look at a few of the major booking engines such as Expedia or Orbitz. While it is not typically in our best interest to point out competitors taking a look at these sites might result in savings on your hotel. That said we’ve combed through both these sites ourselves and know that we offer some of the most competitive rates available and Orlando Vacation Hotels is usually the best place to find an inexpensive place to stay.

However, this article is not about shamelessly plugging the benefits of our website. Rather we wanted to offer you some nice tips to go ahead and book a cheap Orlando Hotel. Ask your friends who they’ve used in the past this is oftentimes a nice starting point. You may also wish to do a search on the internet to look for the lowest rates and best values.

The best suggestion we can offer any guest considering a vacation to Orlando is to stay just outside of Disney World. Those who stay within the theme park can easily pay three times as much as those guests who choose to stay at a hotel outside the resort. Another tip is to book a package in two places. It is possible to save by booking a hotel and purchasing theme park tickets separately, but many times a cheaper alternative is to buy these two pieces of your trip together. Generally, Orlando Vacation Hotels also finds it is less expensive to book airline tickets as a separate transaction directly through the airlines after first conducting a search on Expedia and then going directly to the respective airline’s website.

Orlando FL from the Sky

The fascination of being able to fly through the sky is a desire of many taking an Orlando FL vacation. That fascination is what started Orville and Wilbur Wright in designing and building airplanes. It is what drives people to parachute or hang glide.

The first flight in a hot air balloon was on September 19, 1783 in Versailles, France. The first “manned” flight was on November 21, 1783 when the Montgolfier brothers took a flight in Paris, France. Aerostat Adventures located nearby many Orlando Florida hotels is a hot air balloon adventure that gives families a chance to float through the air and experience a bird’s eye view of incredible sites. Gaze upon the amazing views of Disney World, Epcot and many other attractions high above as you gracefully and safely glide through the sky. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of landscapes and wild life as the sun rises. The serenity and breathtaking view is incomparable. Assist in the excitement of inflating your colorful balloon and learn how a hot air balloon operates. Join several other balloon riders that lift off at the same time. Rhere is nothing quite like the sight of beautiful colorful hot air balloons floating in the early morning sky.

There are a variety of sized hot air balloons to consider on your Orlando vacation, which can carry any where between 1 to 12 people at a time. The rides last between an hour to an hour and a half so it is wise to dress comfortably, as you will be standing throughout the duration of the flight. After you touch down a champagne brunch is provided where everyone can discuss their unique ballooning experience.

Hot air balloons use the basic principles of gravity and cold & hot air. An inflator fan is used to fill the balloon envelope up with cold air; a burner is then used to heat it up with hot air to make it stand upright. Once in the air when the pilot wants to descend, he lets the air in the balloon cool. When he wants to rise, he heats the air up again. This is also how the pilot “steers” the balloon.

Today, hot air balloon flights are an everyday occurrence and people of all ages can enjoy the breathtaking experience with the many different hot air balloon tours. See Orlando FL in a way that will take your breath away and leave you with a vacation memory you will never forget.
